Role Overview- Management Accountant

• Salary: £35-40k per annum pro rata, dependent on experience.
• Hours: Part-time, 21-28 hours per week. flexibility in whether this is worked over 3,4 or 5 days
• Contract Type: 6-month fixed term contract
• Location: Edinburgh office (Hybrid or fully Remote within the UK)
• Reports To: Finance Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Management Accountant to join our small, dynamic finance team for a 6-month fixed term contract. There is the possibility this position could become permanent.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will support our daily financial operations and assist the Finance Manager with month-end processes. Your main tasks will include:

• Month-End Support: Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts, including processing accruals, prepayments,and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Revenue Calculations: Calculation of Deferred and Accrued revenue.
• Reconciliations: Reconciling customer payments efficiently within Xero.
• Invoicing: Creating and managing customer invoices using our billing platform, Stripe.
• Credit Control: Conducting proactive credit control and cash collection activities to ensure healthy cash flow.
• Ledger Management: Managing the purchase ledger and processing supplier invoices accurately.
• Other ad hoc tasks as required
