Fulfillment & Logistics Manager

Overview

PlayerData is scaling fast and we are looking for someone to lead our fulfillment and logistics in the US addressing three key areas:

1. Initial set up
   1. Build a scalable shipping and logistics function in a new hub out of Indiana
   2. Hire and train talent, implementing a talent pipeline in the area
   3. Set up for scale
2. Responsibility for day to day shipping operations in the US
   1. Be the boots on the ground getting orders into the hands of customers
   2. Using existing processes, maximize efficiencies and create a reliable and efficient hub
   3. Tracking and reporting on operations
3. Review and improvement of shipping processes globally
   1. Create and implement new standards of how to ship products. This includes; evaluating and revising processes, creating regular reporting for the executive team, and managing international communications for alignment and efficiency

This role will require you to keep operations moving effectively, while continuing to evolve for more efficient scaling as our products become more established. The initial set up phase will be fast and full on with the time pressure of our upcoming busy season and once you are running, there will be constant improvements and adaptations required to keep operations in line with our fast-paced business goals.

Example Day to Day Responsibilities

• Ensure fast and reliable delivery of orders to customers across the US
• Interact with CRM and keep records up to date
• Continually assess costs and efficiencies and adapt to improve
• React quickly to changes in process elsewhere in the business, from new products to changes in testing
• Provide reporting on shipping & hardware deployment activities and metrics
• Maintain and report on stock levels
• Prepare and test products prior to shipment
• Assess current processes and improve/adapt where required
• Maintain clear communications with other teams
